Session 1 – Digital Photography 101
Have a camera but don’t really know what all of those buttons & dials do? Wonder why some of your photos are blurry or exposed wrong? We will develop an understanding of how Aperture, ISO, & Shutter Speed combine in the Exposure Triangle. . We will learn how & when to use your camera’s aperture priority/shutter priority/manual modes. Outsmart your camera and take control of your images.
Session 2 – Intermediate
Lenses, focusing modes, Depth of Field. file formats, lighting, composition & storytelling. We will cover everything from natural (ambient) lighting to flash. We will learn how to “read the light” and master methods for dealing with less than ideal lighting situations. Whether it’s too dark or too bright, we will learn how to create great exposures every time.
Session 3 – Advanced
In this module we will learn how to shoot various genres of photography. From products and portraits, to landscapes and architecture. This will be a hands-on course, so bring your cameras.
Session 4 -The Digital Darkroom
In this module, we will delve into the power of post-processing our images via Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop. From cataloguing our images to processing RAW files and various exporting options…you will learn the fundamentals of these powerful processing tools.
